Your Guide to Forming a Hackathon Team
Eligibility
All virtual hackers accepted to AthenaHacks are eligible to win prizes, regardless of whether or not you are able to attend project expo! If you are unable to present your project to the judges live, make your devpost include as much info as possible.
If you are located outside of the United States and we are unable to send you a physical prize, you will be eligible to win a gift card of equal value to the original prize.
Requirements
- Team sizes are limited to up to 4 students
- Start and complete your hack during the 24 hours of AthenaHacks starting Saturday, March 6 and ending Sunday, March 7
- Make sure to create a DevPost profile for your hack and submit by 11:30am on Sunday, March 7
- Be sure to "opt-in" for the prizes your hack qualifies for
- Be sure to fill out the prize submission form so judges know how to see your project.
- Include screenshots, pictures, and/or videos of your hack in your DevPost submission
- Include all team discord usernames in the event that a sponsor wants to ask any follow-up questions
- If your team is unable to present during the Project Expo from 1:00 pm-3:30 pm PT on Sunday, March 7, we recommend a more robust devpost submission. For example, you can include lots of pictures, explanations, and screen records in your submission and mention anything you would say at an in-person demonstration in your submission!
